Windows 8 I have an older computer that is currently on Windows 8. I'm having a lot of trouble updating it and it seems I'm unable to.

I own an HP Pavilion 23 that is currently on Windows 8. I have tried checking for updates, troubleshooting, using links from the Microsoft website, and researching a ton on a different way to update my computer. Every time I try updating, it gives me and error screen or nothing pops up. Some help would be great!
