Windows 10 I have deleted that HORRIBLE and malfunctioning One Drive but my files keep going to One Drive (and I do NOT want that)

I have deleted that HORRIBLE and malfunctioning One Drive but my files keep going to One Drive (and I do NOT want that). I even installed a new app in Microsoft Store (a picture converter) and it sent the result to One Drive! How do I stop One Drive from FOREVER accessing my files or apps?When One Drive accesses my files it deletes them from my computer and I DEFINITELY do NOT want that to happen.When new files are created or existing ones modified, this TERRIBLE app automatically puts them in One DriveHow can this be happening when I have deleted One Drive from the computer in Control Panel
