Windows 10 I have dell inspiron 5570 with 8GB 2400 mhz RAM. Can I upgrade it more than 2400mhz RAM? Do it will perform better?

I think windows 10 support dual memory with different clock speed, and I can upgrade memory to 16 GB. If it didn't worked well I have to loss the cost of RAM and installation charges, so I need to know whether it will work or not.
