Windows 10 I have Win 7. I bought USB Win 10 home. How do I use that USB from Best Buy/Microsoft Win 10 w/o wiping my apps

I have Win 7. I bought USB Win 10 home. How do I use that USB from Best Buy which is Microsoft Win 10 without wiping my apps.I need to install Win 10 over Win 7 without losing apps.Can anyone tell me the instructions how to do this and what actually comes on the USB stick labelled Windows 10 Home? Best Buy did not know and Microsoft closed its 800 support and stores across the US. I cannot find a chat or email for Microsoft either.Thank you for assistance.
