Windows 10 I need some help with the HEVC codec.

So I just bought the HEVC video extension so that I can do things with my GoPro but whenever I put the files into Premier it says that I don't have the right codec installed but I just paid for it. I'm getting a little frustrated. I've tried installing updates and restarting my computer but the problem persists.
