Windows 10 I only want to download latest pictures/videos from my iphone

Hi, the last couple of months ive noticed when Im downloading my pictures from my iphone to my laptop the option to only download latest pictures/videos has gone?This is really annoying as each time when I have to download my pictures I have to download all of them which is over 2000 pictures. What happened to that function where photos app recognised only the latest ones? It was so handy and saved so much time. Thanks
