Windows 10 I received Minecraft as a gift from a co-worker. I went to the Google play store, it took my code and is in my account. (I can see it listed). But

I received a gift from a co-worker, Minecraft. He bought it at Target. I entered the code from the receipt into Google play store. I see in my account where it is recorded, but we are not able to access the actual game on Windows 10. Help?
