Windows 10 I restarted my computer and when it took me to type my pin in the letters wouldnt work but numbers would,

when i failed multiple times it allowed me to type letters to solve the phrase challenge but once i passed it still wouldnt let me type my password in, numlock isnt activated or anything. Help please?
