Windows 11 I want to know how can i download windows games to a USB drive using the usb 3.0 port

Hello my laptop does not have any more room to add games. So i am wandering if I can install games to a USB drive? And if I can how do i change where games are downloaded to. Not to the download file on pc to the USB drive? And when i want to play the games on the USb drive how do i select the game on the usb drive or will game open and play when i select the game in start apps or if game is on desktop icon?thanks for answering each questions I asked.
