Windows 11 I would like to sign on to Windows 11 with a different email address, but I don't want to change my desktop & apps

I would like to sign on to Windows 11 with a different email address, but I don't want to lose my existing desktop or installed apps. I have tried to change Users, but that takes me to a new, blank desktop and from there, I also can not access any of my files, pictures, data, etc., that I created with my other/previous sign in. I've looked for answers, but none show/tell how to change one's log in while maintaining the previous desktop, icons and files. Please help. Thanks SO much.
