Windows 11 iCloud panel will not load on my windows 11 laptop

Something is blocking my icloud panel in my new laptop running Windows 11. My old pc was running win11 and I had no problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled icloud over a dozen times. It goes through the installation, prompts to open, then "circles for a few seconds and just dies. It shows running in the task manager, but nothing I do will open the panel so I can sign on and select my calendars and contacts. Any ideas?
