Windows 10 Icons for old DOS programs remain blank in Windows 10 32-bit

Since the question at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...blank-on/31bd578d-17da-4999-a258-e678f21aed16 is locked, I'll ask the question again and answer it.When I setup an older DOS program (for instance, WordPerfect 5.1) to run in Windows 10 32-bit, the program runs fine (after the NTVDM feature is installed). But when I setup a shortcut to that program it creates a *.pif file that always displays as a blank white icon no matter what Icon I change that *.pif file to.
