Windows 11 I'm having strange HDMI behaviour. No Signal when plugged in, computer crashes when using USB-C to HDMI adapter. How can I fix this? (Windows 11)

Hi, I have an HP Zbook Stuido G3 laptop with intel HD 530 integrated graphics and NVIDIA Quadro M1000M discrete graphics, and I’m having a lot of problems trying to use an external monitor. This setup used to work perfectly fine but I’m only now having issues:When I plug an HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the laptop (connected to a monitor), the monitor detects a connection - as does the laptop, but there’s no signal. I tried switching the display to external only but still only got signal on my laptop’s screen.When I plug the monitor in via an HDMI to USB C converter through one of the lapto
