I there, I need help. I'll try to be as clear as possible.
I got Windows 10 Home x64 and I'm using a SSD.
I tried downloading a Google Drive folder using Mozilla Firefox. When it finished "preparing the files", like 20 download windows pop up: the folder was bigger that what I expected, so it generated many 2GB zip folders to download. I started downloading half of them, but realized I didn't want this (plus, I didn't had the disk space to actually store it). So I cancelled the files that were in the middle of the download.
After I did this, an alert pop up saying I didn't have more disk space. And I had indeed just a few MB left.
So after cancelling the downloads, I empty the trash bin. This doesn't solve the issue. "Right, I have to delete the temp files" I think.
I go to configuration > system > storage, and there I see that I have 24GB of temo files to delete.
BUT
When I move forward to get rid of them, now it doesn't show the 24GB, just a few houndrer MB.
I go to %temp% and I see that, the 24GB are not there.
I tried looking for temp files from Mozilla, but didn't find anything.
I check with WinDirStat, same thing. Can't find those files. Tried with CCleaner, same thing.
I checked Windows defrag, the disk seems to be OK.
Of course I restarted a few times and even turn off the computer for an hour or so. Nothing changed.
Despite all the things I've tried, I'm in no way an expert, so I'm surely missing something here o places to look, but at this point I have no idea what else to look, not even what "tutorial" to look for.
