Windows 10 Im trying to download nVidia drivers, but when i do it says in my monitor 'Out of Range' after an Windows Upgrade.

My graphics card is a GeForce GT 1030, and my monitor is 1366x768p @60Hz (ViewSonic VA1931wa-LED) and I am using an HDMI to VGA converter. I have found a method on youtube to fix this but it only works for about 10 mins before it says out of range again. (Link) Now ive figured out that if you make the resolution 1024x768p, then you can use the pc, But it looks horrible and my screen is stretched. I tried to download drivers so I can play some videogames, but midway through downloading it says out of range again. I really need a solution so any advice would be helpful.
