Windows 11 In Windows 11, any external storage device I plug in shows up as Unknown Device in Device Manager.

This started happening recently. If I plug in any external storage device, be it a USB drive or an external hard drive, it will always show up as an Unknown Device. I can see the drives in Disk Management, but they have no drive letter. If I try and assign a drive letter, I just get an error saying that Disk Management is out of date and needs to be refreshed, but that does nothing, it just keeps coming up. These are known good devices that work on other computers. I have tried uninstalling the Unknown Devices and then try to have Windows re-install the driver, but it just goes back to Un
