Windows 11 In Windows 11, why do the icons in file explorer show as blank pages, and why are the windows app icons invisible on my taskbar?

My OS is Windows 11. A few weeks ago I noticed all .png, .jpg, and .csv file types showed the icon of a blank page. Additionally, all Windows apps were invisible on my taskbar. I can't seem to find a fix for this anywhere other than on Super User, and the solution was to "create a new user profile." If it comes to that, than fine — I just figured I'd post something here and see if I could get different results. I've tried clearing my icon cache, resetting my file explorer, etc. My suspicion is that this was caused by Google Drive. I've tried eradicating all traces of Google Drive from my compu
