Windows 11 Installing a non-microsoft verifed app on my Windows 11 machine

I recently purchased a Dell laptop with Windows 11. I wanted to install the Dell Assistant on my laptop. When I try to install I receive a message that it is not a verified Microsoft app.How do install a non-microsoft app?I tried a couple of methods that I saw on YouTube but my "apps & features" screen does not have the feature that allows me to install apps from any vendor.
