Windows 10 Installing Windows 10 with OEM license on MSI laptop

I just bought a MSI Modern 15 laptop with no pre-instaleld OS, so now I want to install Windows 10 on it.I saw that there are 2 kinds of licenses, OEM and retail. Now, I would like to use a OEM license. The problem is that I read somewhere that to install Windows with a OEM license requires to format the whole drive first, but this MSI laptop comes with a partition called Driver CD, and MSI told me that it shouldn't be deleted. So my question is: can I install a OEM license without removing pre-existing partitions on the drive?
