Windows 10 Is it possible to take a screenshot/recording while the monitor is asleep or turned off?

If I set Xbox Game Bar to record a game, and then turn the PC monitor off, everything between the monitor turning off and it turning back on again will display the same frame (the image that was on the screen right before the monitor was turned off). Taking screenshots with print screen yields the same result. This also occurs if I try to screenshot an MP4 file that is playing, or take a screenshot of something in Edge internet browser.For some reason, this doesn't appear to apply to certain things intrinsic to Windows, such as folders or the command line, which visually update just fine with
