Windows 11 Is the issue of USB mic "low volume" solved? If not, why not?

There is a long-running issue where lots of USB microphones do not work well on computers with Windows 8 and above (their volume is too low to be useful). The same microphones work fine on Windows 7 systems. I'm assuming this problem doesn't happen in all computers, but I've tested USB mics in various laptops and desktops of different brands and the low volume issue was present in all of them.People have been complaining about this for years, see here:Redirecting
