Windows 11 Is there a way to use purchases on the Microsoft store on another account?

I bought what I thought was a game key and it was just an account with the game purchased on it. Anytime I try to play it on a different account than originally purchased it won't let me. It's MWIII. When I boot up the Call of Duty app it's locked, and when I boot it up logged into the account that owns it it says; "your account does not match the logged in Xbox account." Is there a way around this or can I only play it on the account that purchased it?
