Windows 11 Is there any way to fix hardware acceleration freezing games when out of focus?

So, hardware acceleration is known to crash/freeze games when they go out of focus, for example when you alt-tab from them. Is there any way to fix the issue WITHOUT simply disabling it (I need to have it enable for a piece of software to work)? Or when it's going to be fixed?
