Windows 11 Is there any way to open the Hard Disk Image File (.vhdx)

On July 17th I got a blue screen and after trying to reset finally reinstalled Windows 11 Home. I was not really worried since I had made an image using Windows 11 (yes, Windows 7 is shown) on June 1. After two lengthy calls with MS support I was finally told I would not be able to restore using the image I made. I was not advised that it is not possible to use an image made with a Windows 11 pc to restore the OS to the same Windows 11 machine. So, I have lost a lot stuff as of now. Question: is there any way to open the Hard Disk Image File (.vhdx) or a work around to restore the image?
