Windows 11 Is this still a problem or is there now a way to get additional sound recording sound after the three hours are up?

I recorded for about 5 hours and 15 minutes with the built in program "Sound Recorder" but Sound Recorder only saved three hours, did not inform me at three hours that it would not save any further voice recording, didn't stop recording, and didn't stop recording and start a new recording (as per how skype's recording feature works). It just apparently "pretended" to record for the full time and then cut out everything after three hours. I saw that this was an issue that has been brought up multiple times earlier this year and seems to me to be a pretty egregious failing for the program, espec
