It appears that there is a a issue with the latest Windows 11 update (version 22621.3880) july 2024 that can affect the taskbar. I was not able to view or interact with the taskbar after installing this update1. This issue caused the taskbar and other applications, like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, to freeze. I disabled the Copilot in the task and this resolved the issue.
