No one calls me back. I made some changes to a Windows 10 Home system that included changing out the motherboard and CPU. Now it appears that one cannot do this and reuse or reassign an old product key without first dissociating it from the previous hardware? I was wondering if there are any exceptions to this, or will the old hardware need to be reinstalled in order to save the $85 for a brand-new product key.It's my mother's computer.
