Windows 11 I've had Age Of Empires 3 discs for years, installed on my PC. Suddenly it stopped working even after it's been installed.

I've had Age Of Empires 3 discs for years, installed on my PC. Suddenly it stopped working even after it's been installed. When I press play nothing happens. I think it said something needs updating. Could this problem be due to the PC being updated? I use Windows 11 and never had a problem playing it on Windows 11 before. Can you help?
