Ever since the update KB4559309 was installed on my Lenovo Ideapad 110 laptop on 6/20/2020, I began having problems with lagging and freezing during Skype calls. Tried Zoom and same thing. First called my ISP provider and they installed a fiber optic line going into my home so that the speed is faster. However, I had slower speeds before and never had this problem. I am still lagging and freezing and when I do speedtests, I can see where the speed is not consistent and there are big drops in the download speed.
I have called Microsoft Support and they have done some things to my laptop, but after the second call they told me to contact my ISP provider. I don't believe it's a provider issue. I think it's the update because my problem began IMMEDIATELY after that install. NOTE: when I plug an ETHERNET cable directly into the router and my laptop, there is NO problem.
