Windows 11 key shortcut to "record what happened" (settings>gaming>captures) opens Xbox game bar instead of saving a capture, how do I change this shortcut?

When utilizing the game capture function, the keys settings says to press are "windows logo key + alt + G". The issue is that the key-sequence it says to press actually open the Xbox game bar instead, even though windows kay + G already opens the game bar. How do I either make the existing key-shortcut work, or change the key shortcut to another combination? I've already messed around with the Xbox game bar to try and change the shortcut but when I changed it there was no affect.
