Windows 11 Keyboard Lag After Adding External Monitor

I have a Logitech - MK360 Full-size Wireless Scissor Keyboard and Mouse that worked perfectly for years through a USB receiver in my Dell XPS 15 laptop running Windows 11. I added an HP monitor as a secondary extended display through HDMI port and now the keyboard lags terribly on both screens about 60% of the time. Even with no other programs open but one browser window, the lag will randomly occur and be so severe that as I type, it will be 20 or so seconds until any letters appear on the screen and it will only include about a third of what I actually typed.
