Not a question, but the topics won't let me reply, so read this quick fix before you spend hours trying to fix your black laptop screen.I'm posting here to try and help others avoid spending hours with the other fixes that first show up online for a black laptop screen. My Lenovo idea pad monitor suddenly wouldn't work (3 weeks out of the box). An external monitor worked fine. The Lenovo logo showed up on startup, and then black screen, so i was pretty sure the display itself wasn't broken. I reloaded Windows. No luck. Went to safe mode to update my driver (twice) and the display worked both t
