Hello!

Recently my Acer Windows 8 laptop has stopped showing my Wi-Fi as an option to connect to, it only shows an ethernet connection - I do not have a ethernet cable, so this isn't ideal. Troubleshooting the problem only tells me that I need to plug in a cable - not how to make wireless internet connections show up. Going into the Network and Sharing in the Control Panel also only shows ethernet as the only available connection.

There are no error signs with any of the Drivers under Device Management, although I cannot seem to uninstall/reinstall the WAN Miniport Drivers.

Restarting the laptop doesn't solve the problem either - although it used to in the past - a few restarts would make the Wireless connections show up again. I am really not sure what the problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
