I use the kind of layout where you press the accent key then the letter you want to accent. For some time, every time I press the accent key my laptop writes two accents. This doesn't just create a second, annoying accent I don't need, it totally prevents me from assigning a letter to the first accent.I know this is not a hardware problem. It concerns all accents, and the same keys function properly when I switch to a different layout where they are assigned different symbols. I also tried switching to another layout of the same type and deleting my current one, then restarted the computer. Th
