Windows 11 Laptop will only turn on when plugged in, instantly turn off when unplugged, and will not charge above 3%

I own an older (2018) Asus ROG Zephyrus GU502GV and suddenly very recently I have been experiencing the issue described in the title and I see it as extremely odd and very sudden. Initially I thought this must be some sort of display bug but it truly wont charge above 3% and when the charger is plugged in will instantly turn on, I refuse to believe that the laptop battery has finally gone out as I never experienced this and it just seemed to happen. Is there any fixes for an issue like this or similar? If more information is needed please ask, my hardware is as follows:CPU: 9th gen i7GPU: NVID
