Windows 11 Legitimate? Windows Defender Email

I received this email that says it's from "mydefender @ microsoft.com" - Is this a legitimate email from Microsoft? Or is this a phishing scam? And, if it's a scam, how are they able to use "@ microsoft.com"? Presently, it's in my Spam folder. If it's spam, should I forward this email to someone in Microsoft and what address should I use? (This is the first time I've ever received this email. I use an outside vendor for email and Google rather than Edge.)
