Windows 11 locked out of my pc because pin was reset

my pc got an update and suddenly i am locked out of my pc because the pin was reset. now, i cant change or place a new pin because whenever i try, it keeps on saying try again later. its been days and i still cant open my pc. any help would be appreciated
