Windows 10 Looking to project my Desktop to my Smart TV, do I need a Wireless Display Adapter?

Hello,I'm wanting to project the screen on my Windows 10 Desktop to my Roku TV but don't know if buying a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter will do the trick or not. I'm positive my TV supports screen mirroring/projecting. When I go to connect to it on my PC I get the "Your PC or mobile device doesn't support Miracast, so it can't project wirelessly" message. When I run dxdiag it says: "Miracast: Available, no HDCP." So my question is, if I were to buy a Wireless Display Adapter, would it solve this problem and allow me to wirelessly project from my PC to my TV? If so, which one is recommende
