Windows 10 Lost ability for native 2560x1440 resolution after cumulative updates March 2021

After new update I've lost ability to use the native maximum resolution of my monitor connected via HDMI.

It used to work good with custom resolution added to the Intel HD 4000 settings, and after the update it will

not accept a resolution of 2560x1440 at any refresh rate.... :(

weirdly, system restore show no points of restore before the update so I'm stuck with a low-blurry resolution on my 27" DELL monitor...

This is how I used to (successfully) set up custom resolution with HDMI cable output:
