Windows 11 Lost laptop but find my device is not working?? Please help

Hello, I recently lost my laptop. Tried using find my device but the last updated position was on 24/7 but I had last used it on 1/8. Locking the device doesn't work either as the system only says that it is unable to lock it. My laptop as of now still has 41% and I did not shut it down the last time I used it so I do not understand why find my device is unable to track it. Please help??
