I was transferring photos from my android phone(whose memory was almost full) to my new own build-up PC(windows 10) through the phone charger cord. Now for once it did come to my mind that what if all my transferred pictures don't get saved, but since i didn't have much time i just made a new folder in the camera roll and started cut-pasting all the picture to that folder.
Now it took 45 minutes for the transfer to be done and once it was done i simply removed the cord and did a double check on whether the pictures were saved or not.
And yup, the second time i checked the whole folder was gone.
I checked the recycle bin, hidden files and folders, file explore options, local file C, every damn folder i am aware of!
So now that i have lost hope, i would really appreciate if anyone of you could help this helpless person out.
