hi, i need help. not too long ago my computer has been experiencing very bad ping spikes:

i play video games a lot so this is very frustrating. i have tried multiple things to fix this such as: restarting the router, resetting the router, turning wifi back on and off again, resetting wifi all together, attempting to update drivers, etc. etc.
the autoconfig disabling sort of worked but not entirely. plus turning autoconfig off disables various features on other apps i would not like to be disabled.
after disabling autoconfig i still got ping spikes of around 200-400 ms. not as bad as the 1.2-1.6k ms ping spikes but still pretty annoying. so how can i possibly fix this? i have tried EVERYTHING i know of, and this is not even remotely as severe on other devices. im thinking this could be my internet??? because it is satellite so it's pretty slow, but the ping is still abnormal. i couldnt find help anywhere else though, i used wifi analyzer and it said the channel im on was good. i do not feel like resetting my entire computer thank you very much.
this is quite frustrating.... im buying a video game in a couple days and i dont want to have to go through terrible latency. any help will be appreciated.
