Windows 10 Maximum Resolution on Windows 10 Camera App?

Hi,I am running Windows 10 on a desktop PC and have a 24" monitor with a pixel display of 1920x1080. I was also a corporate photo librarian for 32 years and know the importance of taking photos with maximum resolution (e.g., 300 ppi).I need to know the resolution limits of the camera app native to Windows 10. My guess is that 1920x1080 is the maximum as dictated by my monitor. I am also aware that using a desktop camera app is different from using a full-fledged digital camera, or even a cell-phone camera.What are my options for higher resolution?
