Windows 7 MDAC / Jet 4.0 Compatability Issue

Hi.


Attempting data access via MDAC using Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 running on Windows 7.


MDAC is version 2.70.9001.0

Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 is version 4.0.9801.0


When attempting to connect getting Exception:

ex.Message = "The .Net Framework Data Providers require Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC). Please install Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC) version 2.6 or later."


I am running with a later version of 2.6.


Does anyone have an explanation and resolution to this issue?
