Windows 11 Media Player won't create playlists

I am using two computers, a Dell XPS-8960 desktop with 64 GB of RAM and an MSI GS76 Stealth Laptop with 32 GB of RAM. Both are running the latest update of Windows 11 Pro on Intel Core i9 processors. On the laptop, Media Player will create Playlists just fine. On the desktop machine Media Player says it created the playlist, but when I try to find it the program says there are no playlists. Can anyone help? I tried repairing the app, rfestoring the app, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app but nothing helped.
