Windows 11 Microphone not working until set up

Hello, I am experiencing a problem with my microphone on my ROG Zephyrus G14 (G401QC) laptop where my built in microphone doesn't work unless I go through the setup process in Settings > Time & Language > Speech > Set your mic up for speech recognition every time I boot up my laptop. Even after installing and reinstalling the latest drivers from ASUS, the microphone still doesn't work. Looking into devmgmt, it seems that the mic wasn't migrated properly, and the last recorded event was "Device settings for SWD\MMDEVAPI{0.0.1.00000000}.{66ef522e-af10-46e8-b096-7fc01531cedb} were n
