Windows 11 Microphones are too low

I have bought a new computer, using Windows Home 11.My microphones are working ok on my laptop and my partner's laptop and computer.I have tried 3 different microphones, one does not work on my new PC, the other 2 work but the volume is too low.I have tried updating drivers, windows updates, and everything is up to date.I have given permission to the microphone to work in all apps and programs.I have put input volume up to maximum everywhere.I cannot find any other solutions online. I will need the microphone for work, in the meantime I am using my laptop which has limited capabilities, so ple
