Windows 10 Microsoft Flight Simulator Stuck On Loading Screen - It Just Keeps Saying in the Task Manager "Microsoft Flight Simulator Not Responding"

I have tried every recommendation given and I still cannot get beyond the Flight Simulator X opening screen. The little blue circle just spins and spins and spins and it never opens up. I had Windows 8 where the game worked perfectly. I moved to Windows 10 when I had to replace my hard drive and I have not been able to get into Flight Simulator X Steam Edition since. I have tried everything recommended to no avail. I am very frustrated as FSX is my favorite sim game. Please help.
