I've encountered something that you could call a bug at this point, in the Photos App pressing Ctrl&1, Ctrl&+ or simply scrolling up(down?) will zoom in on your image. A standard image allows zooming in past 100% maxing out at some point, but an overly tall image can max out before even reaching 100%, it seems that the height of the image is related to the allowed zoom level. Example. an 800x800 image allows a zoom of 623%, while a 1400x10000 only allows a zoom level of 49%.
