Just received a call that my account would be charged $400 if I did not call to cancel, so I called. The foreign speaking person that answered kept insisting that he was with the Microsoft Refund Dept and that if I wanted my refund I had to go to my computer and he would help me. I already knew it was a scam and I kept asking him who he was with and how much was the charge - it went from $399 then 450 then 400. I kept pushing for him to give me the website or name and he just kept being persistant that I had to go to my computer. I finally told him I was going contact Microsoft to report it and of course he hung up.
The number I called was 208-203-2623. Not sure if there is anything that can be done but I wanted to report it.
I do not need a response.
